PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Martin Carlevaro has over more than 15 years of professional experience in the infrastructure sector, project funding and developing, particularly in relation to the road, social and energy infrastructure sector. He has been dedicated to the structuring and legal counselling in large projects, financial structuring, public private partnerships (PPP) and concessions of public services.
In the past, he has worked in the legal department of important companies like Diveo Argentina (1999 to 2003), and MetroGAS S.A. (2004 to 2008) where he provided advice mainly on regulatory, corporate, labor agreements and turnkey plants issues on a regular basis.
Martin Carlevaro has also participated in numerous M&A processes in the telecommunications and energy sector in Latin America. Moreover, he led the start-up of gas distributor Metroenergía whose shareholders are YPF and British Gas.
Between 2008 and 2014 he occupied the position of Legal Counsel for Latin America in Skanska Infrastructure Development, the international investment division of the Swedish-based construction company. He was in charge of legal affairs throughout the business cycle, including development, valuation, tender, financing, construction, operation, until the sale of infrastructure projects destined for transportation, health and the supply of electric energy under concession schemes or public-private partnership and Project Finance structures in Chile, Brazil, Peru and Colombia as well as in Virginia, United States. From this position he led the sale of 10 concession companies (SPVs).
By the end of 2014 he joined Berkemeyer as Partner and responsible of the Infrastructure, Project Finance and PPP department.
