Work Experience

Current President of the Uruguayan Bar Association. She leads the Litigation & Arbitration area of the firm. She has focused her practice in the areas of Litigation, Arbitration and Private International Law. In her career of more than 20 years, she has participated in important trials in Uruguay and has taken part in national and international arbitrations as a lawyer. She is a member of the list of arbitrators of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center, the International Arbitration Court for Mercosur, the Uruguayan Stock Exchange, the Ibero-American Arbitration Center (CIAR) and the URSEA. She has been nominated by Chambers Latin America as a leading lawyer in Uruguay in the area of Litigation. Moreover, she is an Adjunct Professor of Private International Law Grade 3 at Universidad de la República.

Summer Course in Private International Law at The Hage Academy of Private International Law. The Hague 2012 Diploma in Arbitration Universidad Austral Argentina. School of Law. Currently studying for a doctorate in legal sciences at the Law School of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina on international commercial arbitration.
